Applications are invited from qualified candidates domiciled in the Province of Sindh for recruitment to the following posts at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro and Mehran University College of Engineering & Technology, Khairpur Mir’s. The candidates possessing the educational qualifications and fulfilling the conditions as laid down below should apply on the prescribed application forms obtainable from the office of the Registrar, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro / Office of the Principal, Mehran University College of Engineering & Technology, Khairpur Mir’s on payment through Bank Challan in Habib Bank Limited, Mehran University Booth, Jamshoro / Bank Draft in the name of Director Finance of the University. MEHRAN UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, JAMSHORO
1.      
System Administrator (Library)
BPS-17
B.E (Computer Systems)/MSC/BSC/BCS in 1st Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized University and at least 03 (three) years of relevant experience of the field.
 
2.      
Assistant Librarian
BPS-16/17
Master in Library Science or higher qualification from a recognized University with at least 04 (four) years relevant experience.
 
3.      
Library Assistant
BPS-11/14
Diploma in Library Science from a HEC recognized University, with one year relevant experience.
 
4.      
Assistant Engineer (Civil & Electrical Engineering)
BPS-17
  • B.E. in relevant filed preferably in first class or equivalent qualifications from the recognized University and registration with Pakistan Engineering Council.
  • Minimum experience of 5-10 years of project implementation including monitoring, execution & management in Government / Semi Government / autonomous organizations.
  • Experience can be condoned in case of having higher qualifications i.e. M.Sc in Structure / Civil Engineering.
  • Computer Skills will be considered as additional qualification / merit.

Sub-Engineer

Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferably in 1st class either fresh graduate or having 03 year experience in relevant.

 

 

Instructions

  1. Maximum age limit is 30 years, relaxable in the cases of Government / Semi-Government employees in exceptional cases as well as allowed by Government of Pakistan.
  2. Fees of the application form for the post of BPS-16/17 on payment of Rs.800/- and Rs.300/- for the post of BPS-14 and below.
  3. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications forms along with bank draft / challan with necessary documents for each post.
  4. Candidates who are already serving in Government / Semi-Government and autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel accompanied by N.O.C. from the employer. An advance copy of the application(s) may be sent, so as to reach within due date.
  5. The recruitment against the above mentioned posts shall be made strictly subject to availability of the posts.
  6. Application or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
  7. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test / interview
  8. No. T.A / D.A. will be paid for appearing at the written test / interview.
  9. The posts are purely temporary, but are likely to be continued.
  10. The University reserves the right to delete any post(s) partially and / or wholly.
  11. All documents from Matric to onward are also must to be attached with the application form else scrutiny of form will be kept in abeyance.
  12. Applicants must be English proficient/computer Literate/ skilled in drafting should be fully conversant with the Government rules and regulations and candidate having experience more than required shall be given preference.
