One Day Student Mini-Project Competition / Exhibition 2015

One day student mini-project competition / exhibition 2015 is organized by the Department of Biomedical Engineering on the 16th April, 2015. The purpose of this event is to enhance the practical knowledge among students from four batches (15, 14, 13 & 12BM) of the biomedical engineering and to motivate them for future competition in their respective areas.




There were 108 mini-projects were displayed by more than 90 students of the department of various batches. Although, the majority of the students participated in mini-project exhibition were from 15BM batch. The best projects were selected by the team of judges and awards were distributed to Mr. Vinod Kumar and Ms. Sara Khowaja (with group members) of 15BM, Mr. Khizer Memon (with group members) of 14BM, Mr. Fawad Channa (with group members) of 12BM under project titles. 

(i)                 Traffic Light Control System   (15BM)

(ii)               IR Beam Alarm and PH-Meter (15BM)

(iii)             Cranial Electrotherapy Simulation Circuit (14BM)

(iv)             Normal & abnormal lung function through Power Lab (12BM)

 

The chief guest of the event was Prof. Dr. B.S Chowdhry, Dean FEECSE, and guest of the event was Dr. Wajiha Shah, Chairperson of Electronic Engineering.

The judges of the event were Dr. Imitiaz Kalwar of Electronic Engg., Dr. Ali Asgar of Electrical Engg., and Dr. Muhammad Arif of Biomedical Engg. All the judges evaluated the projects and appreciated the student efforts at UG level. 

The mini project student competition / exhibition 2015 was organized under the supervision of Engr. N.P. Chowdhry, chairman and the faculty members of the Biomedical Engineering. 

At the conclusion ceremony, Dr. Wajiha Shah, chairperson appreciated the Chairman Biomedical Engineering on successful organizing of mini-project student competition / exhibition in the department of biomedical. Engr. N.P. Chowdhry, Chairman precious the talent among students of biomedical engineering to keep it up in the future. Dr. Adnan Ashraf Arain, computer system engineering appreciated students efforts and suggested student to commercialize the potential mini projects. Dr. Muhammad Arif and Dr. Imtiaz Kalwar also praised the efforts of all students and other organizers including Engr. Salman Afridi, Engr. Yugal Kishore, Engr. Pertab Rai.
