On August 9, 2023, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) webinar on Optics and Photonics took place, organized by the departmental event management committee. The distinguished resource person for the event was Dr. Kehkashan Asma, The webinar commenced at 11:00 AM and extended until 1:00 PM. The event was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Wajiha Shah, the esteemed Chief Guest, who is also the Chairperson of the Department of Electronic Engineering.
The webinar's inauguration was marked by the recitation of the Quran Kareem. After this Professor Dr. Wajiha Shah, in her opening speech, emphasize the profound significance of optics and photonics within industries and society at large. She elucidated the pivotal role these domains play in technological advancements and innovation. Dr. Wajiha acknowledging the efforts of Dr. Kehkashan Asma and the event management committee, Professor Dr. Wajiha Shah lauded their dedication in orchestrating this enlightening CPD webinar.
