Department of Electronic Engineering FYP Committee Organized an Interactive Seminar on FYPS for 20ES Batch, led by Prof. Dr. Attiya Baqai as Resource Person

The Department of Electronic Engineering's Final Year Project Committee recently organized an informative one-hour interactive session and seminar for the 20ES Batch on their upcoming Final Year Projects. The event took place on August 3rd, 2023, at AV Hall, IIT Building, MUET. Dr. Syed Zaigham Abbas Shah, the Convener of FYPC, extended a warm welcome to all attendees, including the esteemed Chairperson, Prof. Dr. Wajiha Shah, faculty members, students, and FYPC members Prof. Dr. Attiya Baqai, Engr. Yasmeen, and Engr. Qudsia.
The session commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Mr. Abdul Basit. Subsequently, the Chairperson of the Department of Electronic Engineering was invited as the event chair. She expressed gratitude to everyone for their enthusiastic participation. She lauded the efforts of FYPC for organizing this timely event for the 20ES Batch, as they are about to embark on their Final Year Projects next semester.
Acknowledging Prof. Dr. Attiya Baqai's valuable contribution as the resource person, the Chairperson formally invited her to commence the session. Prof. Dr. Attiya Baqai delivered an insightful presentation covering essential aspects of the FYPs, such as Group formation, Topic selection, FYP phases, Supervisor/Co-supervisor selection, Interdisciplinary insights, industrial collaboration, and the significance of SDGs & CEP characteristics. Additionally, she discussed the guidelines set by the Department for the 20ES FYP cycle.
Following the formal session, a dynamic Question-and-Answer segment ensued, with active participation from the Chairperson, faculty members, FYPC members, and students. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks from the Convener, expressing appreciation to all attendees for their valuable participation.
