ELDC MUET Conference on Youth Leadership

Directorate of English Language Development Centre MUET Jamshoro organised  'Mehran Youth Leadership Conference' at main auditorium.
The Director of ELDC MUET Jamshoro Dr Habibullah Pathan congratulated  Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili on his appointment  as VC MUET Jamshoro
and thanked him for sparing time to be the chief guest of the event.

Dr Habibullah Pathan reported the achievements of ELDC MUET and informed the august house that Higher Education Commission in Collaboration
with ELDC MUET Jamshoro has established state of the art Self Access Centre which is hub of teachers' training in the province and first ever SAC in province Sindh.
Dr Habibullah Pathan requested the Vice Chancellor Dr Uqaili to consider upgradation of Centre as Institute of English Language Education and Applied Linguistics.

Dr Pathan thanked the VC MUET Jamshoro for his support in initiating the first Master's program (MPhil) in English Linguistics at ELDC.  
Dr Roshan Shah Rashidi, Dean Faculty of Humanities commended efforts of Director ELDC and his team on organizing interactive events for the students
of MUET and expressed satisfaction on progress of ELDC.

Dr Muhammad Aslam Uqaili, the Vice Chancellor of MUET Jamshoro in his presidential address spoke on the importance of leadership and presented his slogan
and vision for MUET Jamshoro. He stressed that each member of the MUET community should own this university and start saying that this is my university.  

In the end, Dr M Aslam Uqaili gave away shields and ajrak to the speakers and organizes. Dr Habibullah Pathan and his team presented shield and ajrak to
Dr Aslam Uqaili VC MUET,  Dr Roshan Rashdi Dean ST&H and the Registrar MUET Dr Tauha Hussain Ali as token of thanks.
