MT Organizes Successful Event of OPEN DAY’12

MT OPEN DAY’12 event was arranged by the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering and Mehranian Materials Advantage Chapter (MMAC) on the 17^th January 2012 from 10:00am to 02:00 pm in the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. The event comprised of two categories, where the student’s skills will be evaluated and put to test.

• The first category is the final year (08MT) project display in which the students exhibit their projects to provide solutions for real time technical problems.
• The second category is Poster/Panflex Competition in which students of (09 to 11 MT) design panflex related with the idea on the field of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering.

The worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. A. Q. Rajput inaugurates the session and visited the project stalls. Vice Chancellor appreciates the efforts of final year students.

Faculty members distribute the prizes among the winning teams of the competitions. Chairman says that these sorts of events enhance the capabilities of the students and help them to concentrate on practical knowledge. These events also help newly entered students to know about the field and the departmental activities.
