MUET Wins 2nd Position in the Prestigious Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, has again achieved a remarkable milestone by securing 2nd position in the prestigious Huawei ICT Competition 2024-2025 held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Competing against over 17,500 students from 135 universities, the team, comprising Tahseen Ahmed and Navera Iqbal from MUET and Muhammad Ishaque from Sindh Agriculture University, excelled against 14 teams from 11 countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar.

This accomplishment highlights the brilliance of Pakistani students and MUET’s unwavering dedication to fostering technological innovation and global competitiveness. MUET continues its winning streak, proving its potential to nurture skilled students who excel on international platforms and inspire future generations to strive for greatness. The team will now proudly represent the Middle East and Central Asia at the Huawei Global Finals in Shanghai, China, in May 2025.
