MUTA Need Cum Merit Scholarship 2024

ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP:

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) is offering the MUTA Need Cum Merit Scholarship for the undergraduate 2024 batch. This scholarship is aimed at assisting students who demonstrate financial need as well as academic merit, The applications are invited from the needy students from the undergraduate 24-Batch (BE, B. Arch, B.CRP, BS Computer Science, BS English, BBA, BS Cyber Security, BS Artificial Intelligence, BS Mathematics, BS Environmental Science of the University.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Students shall have minimum 50 Marks in MUET Entry Test.
• Students admitted under self-finance schemes or special schemes are not eligible.
• Students who have received any other scholarship during this year are also ineligible.
• The gross monthly income of the student's father/guardian should not exceed PKR 80,000.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

To complete the application, students must submit the following documents:

• Salary Slip (Current Month),
• In case of Unemployed, the Income Certificate issued by Union Council Office (Not older than 06 months)
• Copies of NIC (student and father/guardian)
• Copy of Form-B (father/guardian)
• Marks certificates (latest exams)
• Photos of residence (front gate, rooms, kitchen)
• Last month’s utility bills (electricity, gas, telephone)
• Statement of Purpose (why the scholarship is needed)

After completing the online form, print the application (an option is available on the portal) and submit it, along with the required documents, to the MUTA Office through your Head of Department.

The last date for submission of applications is 04th October 2024
