Position of Teaching Assistance (on Contract Basis) in Publication Division

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, invites applications for the contract-based position of Teaching Assistant in the Publication Division. The students from the 2024 batch of the Master of Engineering/Science  program, specializing in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Enrollment in the 2024 batch of Master of Engineering in Software Engineering, IT, Data Science, or closely related disciplines. Preference will be given to those who have Strong proficiency in Database Management, XML Metadata preparation, and Web Design & Development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and resolution of technical issues related to the Mehran University Research Journal of Engineering and Technology website.
• Diligent submission of metadata to various indexing agencies.
• Proactive communication with authors and reviewers.
• Streamlined management of the journal’s review process.
• Completion of additional tasks as assigned by the editorial board.

Candidates interested in applying are required to submit their resumes to the Publication Division's office, located in the IICT building, by the 8th of March, 2024. Those shortlisted will be invited for an interview. Please note that no travel or daily allowances will be compensated for attending the interview process. The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend as sanctioned by the competent authority.
