Seminar Report: Financial Literacy Among Engineering Students

The seminar on "Financial Literacy Among Engineering Students" was held at the IIT Building AV Hall, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), on the 18th of October 2023. The seminar aimed to shed light on the importance of financial literacy among engineering students, and the resource person for this event was Prof. Dr. Sobia Shafaq Shah, a distinguished academic from the Institute of Business Administration at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Dr. Sobia Shah holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Anglia Ruskin University, United Kingdom.
The seminar commenced with the recitation of the Quran Majeed, setting a solemn and respectful tone for the event. Following the recitation, Prof. Dr. Wajiha Shah, the Chairperson of the Department of Electronic Engineering at MUET, delivered the welcome speech. In her address, she extended a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Sobia Shafaq Shah, faculty members, and all the participants. Dr. Wajiha Shah also emphasized the significance of the seminar, underlining the importance of financial literacy in the lives of engineering students.
Prof. Dr. Sobia Shafaq Shah, the resource person, then took the stage to deliver her seminar talk.
