Applications are invited from qualified candidates domiciled in the Province of Sindh for recruitment to the following posts at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro. The candidates possessing the educational qualifications and fulfilling the conditions as laid down below should apply on the prescribed application forms obtainable from the office of the Registrar, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro on payment of Rs.500/- through Bank Challan in Habib Bank Limited, Mehran University Booth, Jamshoro /Bank Draft in the name of Director Finance of the University. Lab. Technician in BPS-16

Civil Engg, Mechanical Engg, Chemical Engg, Electrical Engg, Electronic Engg, Bio-Medical Engg, Telecommunication Engg, Computer System Engg, Software Engg, Metallurgy & Materials Engg,  Mining Engg, Petroleum & Natural Gas Engg, Industrial Engg & Management, Environmental Engg & Management, Textile Engg, Water Resources Engg & Management, Architecture, City & Regional Planning.

B.E. in relevant filed or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

OR

B. Tech (Hons) or equivalent qualification with 02 years experience in Engineering University / Technical College or Polytechnic Institute.

2.       

Lab. Technician in BPS-11/14

Civil Engg, Mechanical Engg, Chemical Engg, Electrical Engg, Electronic Engg, Bio-Medical Engg, Telecommunication Engg, Computer System Engg, Software Engg, Metallurgy & Materials Engg,  Mining Engg, Petroleum & Natural Gas Engg, Industrial Engg & Management, Environmental Engg & Management, Textile Engg, Water Resources Engg & Management, Architecture, City & Regional Planning.

B. Tech (Pass) in relevant filed preferably in first class from a HEC recognized University with 2 years experience in the related field.

OR

Three years diploma in the relevant field from a recognized polytechnic institute plus 3 years experience.

Fee Schedule of the Post Advertised

  • Rs.800/- for the post in BPS-16
  • Rs.500/- for the post in BPS-11 & BPS-14.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Maximum age limit is 30 years, relaxable in the cases of Government / Semi-Government employees in exceptional cases as well as allowed by Government of Pakistan.
  2. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications forms along with bank draft / challan with necessary documents for each post.
  3. Candidates who are already serving in Government / Semi-Government and autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel accompanied by N.O.C. from the employer. An advance copy of the application(s) may be sent, so as to reach within due date.
  4. The recruitment against the above mentioned posts shall be made strictly subject to availability of the posts.
  5. Application or applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
  6. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test / interview
  7. No. T.A / D.A. will be paid for appearing at the interview.
  8. The posts are purely temporary, but are likely to be continued.
  9. The University reserves the right to delete any post(s) partially and / or wholly.
