INDUSTRIAL COLLABORATION

Mehran University has established industrial linkages with a number of industries and organizations in the country, Number of MoU’s is being signed by both Parties.

  1. Our Electronics students are encouraged to hunt for trainings, jobs, internships and joint projects from various industries in the country. This procedure ensures a quality research work and completion of final year projects associated with real industry problems.
  2. Electronic Engineering Department makes comprehensive efforts to arrange technology oriented seminars to help the local industry in the efficient utilization of their resources. Industry related seminars/workshops are conducted on regular basis. Short technical courses are held during summer breaks and students/industry worker are also encouraged to participate.
  3. Electronics Department’s faculty members are encouraged to arrange visits to various industrial setups and familiarize themselves with the technical problem being faced by them. The R&D efforts are then focused on such problems.

Industrial Linkages of MUET

The Department of Electronic Engineering has taken measures to actively involve industrial personnel to play a role in academic grooming of our students. Numerous industrial personnel from MUET alumni and others are taking part to strengthen our engineering program. Industrial Visits

All students of every batch accompanying with two faculty members are sent to industrial visit once in every semester after completion of the first year of graduation. The presence of all students in the visit is assured through the official daily attendance sheets. The visits are arranged according to the field/area of major courses in the running semester.
