The tenders are invited on the sealed prescribed form from the Manufacturers or through their authorized dealers / Sole Distributors and Sole Agents for the supply, delivery, installation, putting in to operation and demonstration of Diesel Engine Generator and UPS of the following capacity for Software Engineering Department of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro.

20 – 25 KVA UPS. 04 No.
The interested firms shall have to produce a proof of criteria having been Manufacturer / authorized dealer / Sole Distributor / Sole Agent etc. at the time of purchase of tender.
The purchase will be financed out of the funds received from the Government of Pakistan for the approved schemes of the University.
The tender documents including instructions to the Tenderers, terms & conditions, specifications and schedule of requirements can be had from the office of the Project Director-in-Chief, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, by mail or personally on any working day during office hours from 25.07.2011to 16.08.2011 on payment of Rs. 3,000.00 & Rs. 3200.00 (Non refundable and as per actual expenses) by mail respectively.
The sealed tender duly completed accompanied with the pay order in favour of Project Director-in-Chief, MUET, Jamshoro, equivalent to 2% of the total bid cost as earnest money and will be received duly completed in duplicate and addressed to the Project Director-in-Chief, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, Sindh, must reach him, or be dropped in the tender box placed in his office by 1.00 hrs on 17.08.2011. The tenders will be opened on the same date at 1.30 hrs in the presence of those Tenderers who so wish to be present.
Any conditional tender or un-accompanied of the earnest money will not be considered in the competition.
The Procurement Agency reserves the right as per SPPRA rules to reject any or all bids without any reason whatsoever.
