Transport Section

Transport Section of Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro maintains an organized transportation network. It has one of the wide-ranging fleet consisting of Buses, Coasters, vans, Cars, Ambulances and other technical type vehicles such as Arial Platform, Garbage Compactor, Mechanical Sweeper etc owned by University. We at Transport Section are committed to provide transport services to Boys and Girls students, faculty members and administrative staff against deduction of nominal charges within the Hyderabad / Jamshoro cities. In addition to that regular shuttles services are being operated at each interval of class around the campus.

In order to facilitate the convenient services, around 100 vehicles are on road, MUET has also established its own workshop in which repairing work is being carried out by experienced mechanics under the supervision of Incharge Transport / Transport Officer. Inside the workshop there is service station infrastructure is available in order to keep clean & clear fleet. All purchasing for the lubricants and spare parts of vehicles is being carried out as per university and SPPRA rules.

While discharging our official duties, we look forward for cooperation from students, faculty members and administrative staff of the university and will welcome any suggestion/ feedback for improvements in transport services.
