All the interested Contractors / firms / parties / suppliers / distributors meeting eligibility criteria, viz. having registration with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Income Tax, Sales Tax in case of procurement of goods, registration with the Sindh Revenue Board in case of procurement of works and Services and registration with Pakistan Engineering Council as the case may be and are not black listed in any procuring agency or authority, are invited to participate in sealed percentage / item rate tender for the following work:

The terms and conditions are given as under:-
The tender documents can be had for S.No 1 from the office of Executive Engineer (Works), for S.No 2 from the office of Executive Engineer (Maintenance), for S.No: 3 from the office of Deputy Director (Procurement) and S.No: 4 to 6 from the office of Purchase & Store Officer, or can be downloaded from SPPRA website i.e. www.pprasindh.gov.pk on the payment noted above (non-refundable) on any working day except the day of opening of tenders. The sealed tender on prescribed proforma along with 2% earnest money of total bid in the form of Pay Order in favour of Executive Engineer (Works) for S.No.1 by 14-07-2015 upto 11.00 A.M and same will be opened on the same day @ 11.30 A.M, Executive Engineer (Maintenance) for S.No.2 by 14-07-2015 upto 11.30 A.M and same will be opened on the same day @ 12.00 (Noon), Deputy Director (Procurement) for S.No.3 by 14-07-2015 upto 12.00 (Noon) and same will be opened on the same day @ 12.30 P.M and Purchase & Store Officer from S.No.3 to 6 by 14-07-2015 upto 12.30 P.M and same will be opened on the same day @ 01.00 P.M in respective office, in presence of the Contractors / representative, who so ever will be present at that time. In case of any unforeseen situation resulting in closure of office on the date of opening or if Government declares Holiday the tender shall be submitted / opened on the next working day at the same time & venue. Any Conditional or un-accompanied of the earnest money, tender will not be considered in the competition.
The tender for Serial No. 3, 5 and 6 should be submitted in two separate envelops i.e Single Stage Two Envelopes:
a) Technical Proposal.
b) Financial Proposal.
Manufacturers, their agents, authorized dealers those who are having “MAL” (Manufacturer’s Authorization Letter) addressed to the name of Mehran university of Engineering & Technology are eligible to participate in the Bidding. MAL is compulsorily required to ensure “after-sale-support” from Manufacturer and assurance of supply of genuine material. (for Serial No. 3 to 6)
Bidders who are active in Business since last 10 years or more are eligible to participate in the tendering process. Their existence in the business will be assessed from the Registration Certificates issued by FBR. (for Serial No. 3 to 6)
Bidders Name & Address will be verified from “Tax Facilitation Portal profile from FBR Website”. Bidders are required to submit a printed copy of their “Tax Facilitation Portal profile” from FBR’s website. The Bidder’s address should be same as mentioned on FBR’s “Tax Facilitation Portal profile”. The Procurement Committee may/can physically verify Bidder’s office address by visiting their offices. (for Serial No. 3, 5 and 6)
Bidders should be registered firms and shall provide NTN Certificate, GST Certificate, SRB Certificate, SECP Certificate, CHAMBER Certificate, Labour Department Registration Certificate. (for Serial No. 3, 5 and 6)
Bidder should have successfully completed minimum 5 projects in last five years of such type and the sum of each project should be equal or greater value than 10Million or sum of all projects should be equal or greater than 50 Million. (for Serial No. 3, 5 and 6)
Bidders should have qualified, skilled and trained staff. The bidding firm should provide details of their qualified staff. The Procurement Committee may/can physically verify Bidder’s office address by visiting its office. (for Serial No. 3, 5 and 6)
The Bidding firms should either be Proprietorship, Partnership and or Private Limited. (for Serial No. 3, 5 and 6)
The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids subject to relevant provisions of SPP Rules, 2010 and may cancel the bidding process at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal under Rule-25” of said Rules.
