NOTICE INVITING TENDERS

All the interested Contractors / firms / parties meeting eligibility criteria, viz. having registration with Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for Income Tax, Sales Tax in case of procurement of goods, registration with the Sindh Revenue Board in case of procurement of works and services and registration with Pakistan Engineering Council as the case may be and are not black listed in any procuring agency or authority, are invited to participate on turnkey basis tender for the following work:

Executive Engineer (Works)

 

The terms and conditions are given as under:-

Applications from reputed Contractors / Firms license holders of Pakistan Engineering Council in Category C–02 (at least)

The Contractors / Firms experienced in the field & desirous are requested to submit the following information along with their applications.

 

1.          Name & Address of Contractor / Firm.

2.          Nature of ownership (Company / Sole proprietorship / Partnership) with copy of Memorandum and Article of Association and Partnership Deed.

3.          Name, address and CNIC numbers of the Directors / Partners of the firms.

4.          Valid Registration Certificate from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and details of enlistment with other Government organizations / agencies.

5.          Income Tax Registration Certificate, Income Tax Returns for the last three years and NTN of the firm / contractor.

6.          List of Equipment / Tools, Plants including available construction equipment, machinery along with proof of ownership.

7.          Financial status of the firm duly supported by the bank certificate.

8.          List of technical staff with qualifications, experience including list of Graduate Engineer/ Diploma Engineers with their CVs and registration with PEC.

9.          List of Major similar nature works already executed during last five years with Completion Certificate from the Clients/ Consultants and completion cost of the project.

10.       List of major similar nature of works in hand in same conditions showing cost of work.

11.       List of transport owned.

12.       An affidavit to the effect that the contractor / firm or any of it’s partners have not been black listed by any Government / Semi Government departments, autonomous or any other organizations.

13.       Details of disputes / litigations / arbitration cases, if any, in the last ten years with Govt./ Semi Govt. or any organizations / agencies against the firm / contractor showing extent and results of proceedings.

14.       Any other relevant information.

15.       Evaluation / Qualification shall be based on Marks / Score Criteria which is given in Bidding Documents.

16.   The Method of Procurement is Single Stage Two Envelop Turnkey Basis.

17.       The Firm / Company will present Methodology of work covering Structural, Architectural Plan, Electrical, External Development along with detail Drawings and 3D Model (five hard copies and soft copy) before Technical Committee.

18. The tender documents can be had from office of the Executive Engineer (Works)   or can be downloaded from SPPRA website i.e. www.pprasindh.gov.pk and University website www.muet.edu.pk/tenders-notices on the payment noted above (non-refundable) on any working day except the day of opening of tenders. The sealed tender on prescribed proforma alongwith 5% earnest money of total bid in the form of Pay Order in favour of the Executive Engineer (Works) by 21-04-2016 upto 11.30 (A.M) and same will be opened on the same day @ 12.00 Noon in respective offices, in presence of the Contractors / Suppliers / representatives, who so ever will be present at that time. In case of any unforeseen situation resulting in closure of office on the date of opening or if Government declares Holiday the tender shall be submitted / opened on the next working day at the same time & venue. Any Conditional or un-accompanied of the earnest money, tender will not be considered in the competition.

 

The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids subject to relevant provisions of SPP Rules, 2010 and may cancel the bidding process at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal under Rule-25” of said Rules.
