The tenders are invited on the sealed prescribed form from the Manufacturers or through their authorized dealers (with 3S – Sale, Service and Spare Facilities), Sole Distributors (with 3S – Sale, Service and Spare Facilities) and Sole Agents (with 3S – Sale, Service and Spare Facilities) for the supply, delivery, installation, putting in to operation and demonstration of Diesel Engine Generator on turnkey basis of the following capacity for Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Shaheed Z.A Bhutto Campus Khairpur Mir’s.

Sealed Bids should be dropped in the Tender Box on                 09-06-2015 at 12.00 Noon and same will be opened in presence of Bidders at 1:00 P.M in the office of Project Director.

The interested firms shall have to produce a proof of criteria having been Manufacturer / authorized dealer (with 3S – Sale, Service and Spare Facilities) / Sole Distributor (with 3S – Sale, Service and Spare Facilities) / Sole Agent (with 3S – Sale, Service and Spare Facilities) at the time of purchase of tender. The purchase will be financed out of the funds received from the Government of Sindh / Pakistan for the approved schemes of the University.

The tender documents including instructions to the Tenderers, terms & conditions, specifications and schedule of requirements can be downloaded from website of MUET and for participation in bid, it may be had from the office of the Project Director, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Shaheed Z.A Bhutto Campus Khairpur Mir’s, by mail or personally on any working day during office hours from 25.05.2015 to 08.06.2015 on payment of  Rs. 3,000.00 & Rs. 3500.00 (Non-refundable and as per actual expenses) by mail respectively.

The sealed tender duly completed accompanied with the pay order in favor of Project Director, MUET, Shaheed Z.A Bhutto Campus Khairpur Mir’s, equivalent to 2% of the total bid cost as earnest money and will be received duly completed in duplicate and addressed to the Project Director, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, MUET, Shaheed Z.A Bhutto Campus Khairpur Mir’s, Sindh, must reach him, or be dropped in the tender box placed in his office by 12. 00 Noon on 09.06.2015. The tenders will be opened on the same date at 1.00 PM in the presence of those Tenderers who so wish to be present. In case of public holiday on the day of opening, the next working day/time shall be date/time of opening of tender. The quantity of DG Sets as per bid above may be reduced as per availability of funds.

Any conditional tender or tender without/partial earnest money will not be considered in the competition. The Procurement Agency reserves the right as per SPPRA rules to reject any or all bids without any reason whatsoever.
