The terms and conditions are given as under:-

1.      The tender documents can be had from above offices or can be downloaded from SPPRA website i.e. https://ppms.pprasindh.gov.pk/PPMS/ and University website www.muet.edu.pk/tenders-notices on the payment noted above (non-refundable) on any working day except the day of opening of tenders. The sealed tenders on prescribed proforma along with earnest money mentioned above of total bid in the form of Pay Order in the name of Deputy Director (Procurement). MUET, Jamshoro. The tenders at S. No. 1 will be opened on the 30-05-2019 @ 11.30 (A.M), S. No. 2 @ 12.00 (Noon), S. No. 3 @ 12.30 (P.M) and S. No. 4 @ 01.00 (P.M) in office of the Deputy Director (Procurement), in presence of the representatives, who so ever will be present at that time. In case of any unforeseen situation resulting in closure of office on the date of opening or if Government declares Holiday the tender shall be submitted / opened on the next working day at the same time & venue. Any Conditional or un-accompanied of the earnest money, tender will not be considered in the competition.

2.      The Method of Procurement is Single Stage - One Envelope Procedure.

4.      The Bidders should have atleast 03 years experience of same services in any university or large organization.

5.      The Bidders should be registered with tax paying agencies which would be verified by concerned agencies.

6.      The Bidders should have atleast Rs. 5.00 (M) annual turnover of three (03) years which would be verified by bank statement.

Special Terms & Conditions for the work mentioned at Sr. 4:

a.             The Bidder must have professional / technical human resources of the proposed solution, to carry out the project professionally.

b.            All imported devices must be genuine and online verified from Manufacturer through their Model / series number.

c.             Bidder must provide free of charge technical assistance / online support in regard to the use of product.

d.            Bidder must have local presence including Pre-Sales, Sales & Support Staff; so that the equipment should be supplied through verifiable distribution channel in Pakistan.

e.             The Part Number (Part Identified/PID) for all the proposed equipments must be mentioned in the proposal.

f.             Bidder must mention the Warranty type (International or local) and period from the date of purchase (Even Default warranty period must be mentioned) for any proposed equipment / hardware / software.

g.             All equipment for the project will be delivered new, in packed condition directly to the ICPC, MUET, if equipment delivered is not conforming to the specifications and bill of quantity, the equipment will not be accepted. The equipment will be installed only after inspection. 

h.            Principal must have local warehouses Local hardware/parts center in Pakistan for sparing, (To support the Hardware Replacement timely), moreover, bidders are requested to mention the addresses of such centers, bidder may (optionally) also be requested to arrange visit to such center for MUET representatives.

j.              Evidence should be provided wherever applicable.

 

The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids subject to relevant provisions of SPP Rules, 2010 (Amended 2019) and may cancel the bidding process at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal under Rule-25” of said Rules.
