1)      Mehran University of Engineering & Technology Shaheed Z. A. Bhutto Campus, invites sealed bids from interested firms who are authorized dealers / agents and experienced to supply, Install and make operative the Equipment for Library operations / Security Surveillance and I.T. Equipment for Library Operations for central library of MUET, Shaheed Z.A Bhutto Campus Khairpur Mir’s. Each work is to be completed within 15 weeks, from the date of award of contract. The proposals are invited under SPPRA Rules for the works as mentioned bellow. Bidders should quote for all items for each tender, partially quoted items will not be entertained because the project will be awarded on Turnkey Basis

2)      A complete set of Bidding documents may be purchased by the interested eligible bidders on submission of a written application to Project Director MUET, Z.A. Bhutto Campus Khairpur Mir’s along with Tender Fee Rs. 3,000.00 (Rupees three Thousand only) for each tender on any working day from 10:00 am to 02:00 pm from the date of publication of this tender till 28th April 2016 Or same can be downloaded from the website of SPPRA as well as from the website of MUET, Jamshoro. Bidders who intend to download Bid Documents from websites can send their application along with Tender Fee (in shape of Pay Order) through Courier which shall reach on 28th April 2016. (if applications along with tender fee for the tenders/bid documents which are downloaded from website are not received on 28th April 2016, such Bids will not be accepted / allowed / entertained to participate). Such application should reach to the Project Director, MUET, Z. A. Bhutto Campus, Khairpur Mir’s.

3)      A pre-bidding meeting will be held with the bidders on 22nd April 2016 at 2.00pm in the office of Pro-Vice Chancellor MUET, Z.A. Bhutto Campus Khairpur Mir’s for clarifications regarding TORs and BOQ and or anything else related to Bidding process or Specifications.

4)      All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security equal to 2% of their Financial Proposals. Bids without Earnest Money will not be entertained. Earnest Money should be valid 28 days after validity of Bid. 

5)      Bids must be dropped in the tender box kept in the Committee Room of Pro-Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, MUET, SZAB Campus Khairpur Mir’s on 29th  April 2016 at 11.00am. Bids will be opened on same day at 12.30 p.m in presence of representative of Bidders who choose to attend and the members of procurement committee.

6)      Conditional Bids, submitted through Fax, email, telegraph, not accompanied with bid security, Bids received after the specified date and time and the Bids submitted by the blacklisted firms will be rejected.

7)      MUET Z.A. Bhutto Campus Khairpur Mir’s reserves the right to reject all or any bid(s) subject to the relevant provisions of Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010 as amended in 2013
