Industrial Linkages
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology has established Directorate of Industrial Liaison, Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, as well as Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, for arranging internships, trainings / workshops, field trips to industry / research institutes, establishing industrial linkages, and encouraging commercialization of innovative ideas of the faculty and students. Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Engineering has also constituted an Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) vide notification No. MUET/BM/-175 dated 02-08-2017. The board helps assess achievement of PEOs of the program by reviewing the Employers’ Feedback, identify any gaps, propose any required changes in the curriculum and strengthen the industrial liaison of the department for improved internship/training and research activities.
