The IEEE EMBS MUET Student Chapter of MUET was founded by 11BM students under the guidance of Dr. Ahsan Ahmad Ursani, Chairman, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Mehran UET Jamshoro to bridge the gap between Engineering and Medical domains. It aims to provide the bio-medical engineering students the right tools and the platform to nurture their ideas that can contribute to the healthcare sector.
IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology MUET Chapter is the first Chapter in Pakistan, Introducing the latest technology of biomedical field into Pakistan. We assure that inventions, research and papers of biomedical engineers from Pakistan, get appreciation on the larger scale. EMBS MUET is a channel which is connecting the biomedical engineers of Pakistan with engineers around the world. Our goal is to bring the biomedical field on its peak in country and worldwide.
The IEEE EMBS MUET Student Chapter of MUET has been initiated to bridge the gap between Engineering and Medical domains. It aims to provide the bio-medical engineering students the right tools and the platform to nurture their ideas that can contribute to the healthcare sector. This initiative provides the engineering students from various backgrounds like computer science, mechanical, electrical and electronics a chance to innovate affordable medical devices collaboration with clinicians. Several teachers who are a part of this association also guide students in the process. Along with amassing technical skills, students are exposed to a variety of community service programs, workshops, lectures, contests and other fun learning activities.
