MSRA is renowned for organizing a wide array of tech-centric events, including interactive workshops on Arduino robotics, exhilarating Robo Races, and insightful career counseling sessions tailored for undergraduate students. Moreover, we regularly host programming competitions and circuit designing contests, providing participants with opportunities to showcase their talents and push the boundaries of our society serves as a platform where students from diverse backgrounds come together to explore the feild mechatronics.innovation.

2. SOCIETY OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (SAIL)   

 

Introduction:

The Society of Artificial Intelligence (SAIL) is a student organization established within the Department of Mechatronics Engineering in 2022, founded by students and faculty of the Mechatronics department, driven by the growing recognition of AI's transformative potential. The SAIL fosters student interest and exploration in this rapidly evolving field, providing a platform for learning, discussion, and collaboration on AI projects. Currently, the society comprises 73 members. While current membership is limited to the Mechatronics Engineering department, the SAIL actively seeks to expand its reach and welcome students from across the university in the near future, facilitating a broader exchange of ideas and collaboration on AI projects.

Guided by faculty advisor Dr. Jawaid Daudpoto and deputy advisor Engr. Aamir Shaikh, the current student executive team comprises 12 members, led by Ms. Javeria Rajput (Chairperson), Mr. Ahsan (Vice Chair), and Mr. Shahbaz (General Secretary).

Purpose:

The Society of Artificial Intelligence is dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become future leaders in the field of AI. Through workshops, seminars, and project-based activities, the SAIL fosters a professional learning environment that empowers students to gain a comprehensive understanding of AI concepts and methodologies.The focus lies in actively participating in AI-related initiatives, incorporating advanced technologies such as machine learning, chatbots, and neural networks.The main purpose is to provide students with a platform to develop their AI and programming skills.

MISSION:

The mission of the AI Student Society is to raise awareness and promote the knowledge and interest of students in Artificial Intelligence and to encourage the usage of AI for the better benefit of society.

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES:

  • To teach crucial AI components to young professionals (i.e., Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cognitive Computing) through various activities.
  • To provide a platform for students to develop and acquire programming skills and participate in AI-related activities. 
  • To assist students in putting their AI knowledge and abilities into practice.
