In today's competitive global economy, focus of businesses is more towards project management for delivering competitive results. This programme is aimed at students who wish to pursue careers in corporate sector and SMEs from diversified sectors. The programme shall aim to provide students with knowledge and expertise of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling and closing out projects. The programs offers skills of accomplishing goals through proven frameworks. The program offers disciplined approach starting from portfolio level where the strategic vision drives initial investments and where value measures are established to the fully aligned project, program and portfolio management strategy which encompasses the entire organization, dictating project execution at every level and aiming to deliver value at each step along the way. It is envisaged that businesses need to adapt the project management practices which are in fact, shorthand for project, program and portfolio management as these businesses are clearly seeing the payoff from investing time, money and resources to build organizational project management expertise: lower costs, greater efficiencies, improved customer and stakeholder satisfaction, and greater competitive advantages. This MS progrmme shall help students learn about all these project management practices.
