This programme is primarily aimed at students who wish to pursue careers in areas related to technology and innovation management in public sector in general and private sector in particular. The programme shall aim to provide students with the analytical tools with which to understand, analyze and manage innovations in processes, products and services. This programme focuses on the innovating organizations and practical problem-solving skills required for creative management practice and research.
Technological innovations are the key challenges in today's organizations. Whether large or small, manufacturing or service, public or private sector, organizations have increasingly come to rely on technology to give them a competitive edge in the products or services which they offer,and he processes they use to create and deliver them. The course is designed to acquaint students with recent theoretical and empirical developments in technology dynamics, management and strategy and to provide them with quantitative management techniques of selection, evaluation and implementation.
